Why You Should Hire A Web Designer

Lots of online business proprietors start out devoid of money. They have to do everything themselves-- the groundwork of a product or service, the development of a marketing system, the actual developing of a website to match their product's marketing needs. As their business proliferates in due course, they will find that their simple "self-made" website might not be enough to cover everything, and they will have to spend a away to simply commit their time that to the website expansion.

Chances are, you're someone who began everything with no money too, so you're fairly cynical when it comes to giving away your money in exchange for things that you could have done for free. However, there is a whole lot more to recruiting a designer than just carrying out a job that you do not particularly need to do.

When you hire a web designer to do your job for you, you are doing more than just offering the "dirty job" to someone else. In fact, by paying a small amount of money, you can let the designer worry about the little vexation that always evade the main picture and only come recurring when you're halfway through the job. That way, you will be more focused and have extra time to spend on your exact business strategy.

However, the designers you hire are masters so they are brilliant at what they do. By outsourcing your web design jobs to them, you will not likely have to worry when situations surface because you can consistently get them to fix it for you. Again, they will be able to locate the problem and fix it a lot quicker than you probably will be capable to.

In addition, the project you pay for will appear more professional than what you can produce because the designers have been doing it even longer than you have. After all, they do it for a living so they have to be brilliant!

So, bear in mind to not just work your business, but grow your venture too!

Book Report: Memoirs of a Geisha

Memoirs of a Geisha will take you to the narrow streets and teahouses of Gion and perhaps to every corner of a Geisha's life. It opens your eyes to a new culture which will teach you how to break the barriers of adversity just by putting yourself in the shoes of this woman's voice. It brings you to the time where most of us in this age couldn't have remembered. You could almost hear every struggling step, see every stitch of a golden kimono pattern, smell Sake in the air and feel the vibrations of every Shamisen as if you're cradling it in your arms. It brings you to a new world and makes you realize that despite the differences, we all have similar needs in life.

I have first laid my hands on this book last 2005, one of those days when I used to cut classes to escape from the shallow insanity that Mathematics had caused me. While the other students hang out in groups, I enjoyed being alone with my little adventures in the City Library. It was a brief moment and I had to attend the next class. So for a couple of hours, I had the chance to escape the predictable world that I was in and fed my 15-year-old mind with a very brief episode of young Chiyo's life.

Last week, almost 6 years after that short encounter with Chiyo, I have decided to re-read the book again, with the intention of finishing it. Now that I have accomplished that, I realized, I wish it didn't finish.

Before reading Golden's book, I only had the slightest idea about Geisha. I always think about them as Japanese prostitutes, entertaining men who served during the war. I was wrong. I have underestimated and misjudged their career (or should I say, life). If we share the same shallow idea, then I want to steer you close to this book. Let Sayuri's voice take you to the story of her life, to the places she's been and the struggles that has mold her into a true beauty and your perception will change forever.

Memoirs of a Geisha is a story of a young peasant girl who was sold as maid and apprentice to a renowned Okiya in Gion. The book was written by Arthur Golden and he has brilliantly told Chiyo's story in a very mild female voice with the mind of a Caucasian white male.

I would love to narrate the whole story to you, and put in text as if we're both talking in the same setting. I hate to spoil the ending, but this book is a must-read. You will start your travels in the small town of Yoroido where you could observe the young sisters' simple life and the adversities that will come after. Memoirs of a Geisha will show you the colors behind the white makeup Geisha wear, the struggles that they have gone through and the love they have all dreamed of but could never have. It will make you believe that true love does wait patiently and take you to the erotic minds of Japanese men and the amount of money they can spend to be entertained by cultured and adversity-sharpened artists.

There's also a movie of the same title starring  Zhang Ziyi which might be of interest to you.

“I had to wonder if men were so blinded by beauty that they would feel privileged to live their lives with an actual demon, so long as it was a beautiful demon.” - Sayuri (on men's fascination of Hatsumomo)
